The PDF to the left is a theoretical theatre history lesson plan that introduces the students to the rules of Neoclassical playwriting before diving into a unit about Shakespeare.
The PDF to the right is a sample acting lesson plan focusing on improvisation and world/character building. This lesson is the set-up for the acting and improvisation game we would be playing the next day.
The PDF to the left is a theoretical playwriting lesson plan that introduces a four-week Playwriting Unit. This unit allows students to collaborate and workshop their plays as artistic colleagues.
The PDF to the right is an 80-day curriculum plan that lays out what I would want to teach in a semester-long Introduction to Theatre class.
The PDF to the left is a collection of lesson plans that outlines the way I would spend the first week of a semester or school year with a new group of students. These lesson plans help me to outline proper classroom procedures and begin to build trust between myself and the students in my class as well as trust between one another.
